Booking.com does have a promo code box: it sits with your payment details on the Final Details page, the last step before you book. The codes that work there come from Booking.com itself or its reward partners, usually by email or a unique link, not from coupon sites. And most Booking.com savings need no code at all, because Genius discounts and deals such as Late Escape are taken off the price automatically.
The code box is on the Final Details page, and most savings need no code. Booking.com asks for a promo code together with your payment details on the Final Details page, right before you confirm. If an offer is active, you will see a ribbon at the top or bottom of the site and/or an active code on the left of that page before you finish. In the app, some offers ask you to enter the code under 'My coupon codes' in the main menu instead. Coupon codes from Booking.com's reward partners work differently again: you redeem them on Booking.com's travel coupon page and they become Travel Credits in your Wallet.
Genius discounts, 10% at Level 1 and up to 20% at Level 3, only show to signed-in members, and Booking.com applies them to the price before taxes and fees automatically. Searching signed out shows the standard rate, so sign in first and use the same account on your phone and computer.
Pick the room and rate, then continue to the page where you add guest and payment details. The promo code box is on this page, next to the payment form.

Booking.com allows one reward per booking, and it can be combined with Genius discounts and Booking.com deals. Rewards that work as an instant discount need you to choose 'Pay now', which not every property offers.
An instant discount shows in the price breakdown. A cashback-style reward is confirmed in your booking email and paid 30 to 60 days after check-out. If you cancel a booking made with a reward, the reward is lost and the code cannot be reused.
Booking.com started in Amsterdam in 1996 and is part of Booking Holdings Inc. It now sells far more than hotel rooms: stays from hotels to apartments and villas, flights, car rental, attractions and airport taxis. By its own count, more than 1.5 million room nights are reserved on the platform every day.
For anyone hunting a discount, the important thing about Booking.com is that its savings are built into your account rather than handed out as public codes. The free Genius loyalty program takes 10% off participating stays from your very first booking and rises to 10–20% at Level 3, always applied to the price before taxes and fees. Limited-time campaigns such as Late Escape Deals add 15% or more at participating properties, and in many cases these discounts can be combined.
Promo codes do exist on Booking.com: there is a box for them on the Final Details page. They come from Booking.com itself or from its reward partners, usually by email or a unique link, and coupon codes from those partners are redeemed for Travel Credits in your Booking.com Wallet. This page explains where each kind of code goes, which Booking.com deals are live right now and how they stack, with every rule taken from Booking.com's own pages.

Common questions about saving with Booking.com promo codes
Yes, but not public ones. Booking.com promo codes come from Booking.com itself or its reward partners, usually by email or a unique link, and you enter them with your payment details on the Final Details page. Booking.com's affiliate terms say it does not provide voucher codes to customers and forbid affiliate sites from listing discount vouchers, so instead of listing codes this page lists Booking.com's own live deals and explains the discounts you get without a code.
Start with Genius, which is free: 10% off participating stays at Level 1, 10–15% at Level 2 and 10–20% at Level 3, applied automatically when you are signed in. On top of that, look for current Booking.com deals such as Late Escape Deals (15% or more off stays at participating properties between October 1, 2026 and January 7, 2027). In many cases Genius combines with other deals, and Booking.com shows which discounts apply before you book.
Booking.com coupon codes are awarded by its reward partners, usually in an award email. You redeem one on Booking.com's travel coupon page with just your email address, and it becomes Travel Credits in your Booking.com Wallet. To spend the Credits you need a Booking.com account with the same email address; look for the 'Pay with Wallet' badge, because not every property accepts Wallet payments. Credits can take up to 10 minutes to appear and cannot be used on bookings you have already made.
Genius is Booking.com's free loyalty program. Creating an account unlocks Level 1 straight away, and every completed stay, flight, rental car, taxi or attraction booking counts toward the next level. Discounts apply at 850,000 participating properties worldwide, which carry a blue Genius label, and Booking.com never moves members down a level once they have unlocked it.
Level 2 unlocks after 5 completed bookings within 2 years and Level 3 after 15 completed bookings within 2 years. Each reservation counts as one booking however many nights or rooms it covers. Level 2 adds 10–15% discounts plus free breakfasts and room upgrades at select stays; Level 3 adds 10–20% discounts and priority support on all stays.
Late Escape Deals are Booking.com's end-of-year campaign: at least 15% off, and sometimes more, at participating properties worldwide. They can be booked until January 7, 2027 for stays between October 1, 2026 and January 7, 2027, and the discount is applied to the price before taxes and fees.
Yes. Booking.com allows one reward per booking, and that reward can be combined with Genius discounts and Booking.com deals. Booking.com says Genius itself can be combined with other applicable discounts in many cases. The exception is a stay marked 'Partner offer', which cannot be combined with any other offers.
Yes, through We Price Match. If, after booking, you find the same property and room type for the same dates, cancellation policy and number of guests cheaper on another website, Booking.com refunds the difference. Use 'Found this room cheaper elsewhere?' on your confirmation page or contact Customer Service with a screenshot and a link; the cheaper offer must still be online when they check. Prices that need a login, loyalty membership or coupon, Partner offers, cancelled bookings and single-unit properties are excluded.
Before. Genius discounts and Late Escape Deals are both applied to the price before taxes and fees, so the discount does not reduce local taxes or property fees added at the end.
Genius takes 10% off select rental cars at Level 1 and 10–15% at Levels 2 and 3, on the cost of the car only. For flights, Genius members get price alerts in the app, and Travel Credits from coupon codes can be spent on select flight bookings as well as car rentals, attractions and taxis paid in advance.
It is lost. If you cancel a booking made with a reward offer, Booking.com does not pay out its value and the unique link or code cannot be used again.
Rewards paid to your card or to your Wallet are verified after your stay and arrive 30 to 60 days after check-out, with a confirmation email. Booking.com pays card rewards to Visa, Mastercard or China UnionPay cards (Visa and Mastercard debit cards work too), but not American Express. Instant-discount rewards are taken off the price immediately and need you to choose 'Pay now'.
Because Genius discounts only apply to signed-in members, and they are already included in the price you are shown. If you see a different Genius level on your phone and computer, make sure you are signed in to the same account on both.
Sometimes. Properties can set a mobile rate that only appears in the Booking.com app, or in the app and mobile browser, marked with a badge. Not every property offers one, so it is worth comparing the app price with the website for the stay you want.
Booking.com runs seasonal and holiday campaigns and keeps deal pages for Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and winter holidays on its seasonal deals page. Discounts and dates are set per campaign, so check that page when the season starts; we add the live campaign to this page once Booking.com announces it.
Yes. When you book through our links we may earn a commission from Booking.com at no extra cost to you. It does not change the price you pay or which deals we list.
As of October 18, 2026, there are 5 Booking.com offers available — 5 deals, with discounts up to 20% off. They are all listed above.
With your payment details on the Final Details page, the last step before you confirm the booking. In the Booking.com app, some offers are entered under 'My coupon codes' in the main menu instead. Coupon codes for Travel Credits are redeemed separately, on Booking.com's travel coupon page.
Booking.com's own rules list the usual reasons: the code has expired; it is limited to the app or needs a minimum spend; it is an instant discount but the property does not offer 'Pay now'; you are trying to use it on a booking you already made (rewards cannot be applied retroactively); or the booking already has a reward (one per booking). Booking.com's affiliate terms also say it does not provide voucher codes to customers, so codes posted on coupon sites are not ones Booking.com publishes.
