NordVPN is one of the most popular VPNs, and paying less for it comes down to a few choices: the right plan and term, the right coupon, and any extra discount you qualify for. This guide covers every one of them, with every rule taken from NordVPN's own site.
For today's offers, see our NordVPN coupon codes and deals page.
The NordVPN deals that save the most
- 2-year plans. NordVPN's pricing page shows its biggest savings on 2-year plans, up to 75% off, with 3 extra months on top.
- An extra 15% off for students, graduates, teachers, healthcare professionals, first responders and military, on top of the 2-year deal.
- NordVPN's coupon page, where clicking "Apply Code" puts the coupon on your order automatically.
- Refer a friend for 3 free months.
- A 7-day free trial for new users, and a 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan.
Basic, Complete or Ultra: which plan to buy
| Feature | Basic | Complete | Ultra |
|---|---|---|---|
| Secure, high-speed VPN for 10 devices | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Scam and phishing protection | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Dark Web Monitor | Yes | Pro | Pro |
| Next-gen antivirus and malware defense | No | Yes | Yes |

How to use a NordVPN coupon code
From NordVPN's coupon page:
- Pick a plan and click "Apply Code".
- Enter your email and payment details and complete checkout.
- Check the Order summary: the coupon shows as applied automatically.
With a code of your own:
- Choose your plan and go to checkout.
- At the bottom of the Order summary, click "Got a coupon?".
- Type the code in "Enter coupon code" and press Apply, then check the new total.
NordVPN says the codes on its coupon page can only be claimed there, so if a code is refused, go back to that page and use its "Apply Code" button.
The extra 15% off
NordVPN offers an extra 15% off worldwide, on top of its 2-year deal, to students, graduates, teachers, healthcare professionals, first responders and military officers. Students claim it with a UNiDAYS coupon after verifying their student status.

Intro prices, renewals and refunds

- You can turn off auto-renewal any time in your Nord Account and keep access until the term ends.
- Every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee: contact 24/7 support within 30 days for a full refund. App store purchases are refunded by the store.

Coupon research and editing
We are the people behind SaversPrice. We find codes and deals for hundreds of stores and check them on the retailer’s own site wherever we can, and the ones confirmed there carry a green Verified badge, so you can see at a glance which codes we checked. Offers come down once they expire or their sale ends, and when 6,000 stale coupons failed our check, we deleted them.
