How to Save at Tire Rack: Rebates, Free Shipping and Installation Explained

Tire Rack has sold tires since 1979 and ships them from distribution centers across the country to your home, your garage or one of more than 10,000 independent installers. Its current deals don't use promo codes. Most of the savings come from the tire makers, as rebates on a set of four tires or as instant savings already taken off the price, and the rest from what Tire Rack adds: free shipping on orders of $50 or more, free road hazard protection on almost all tire purchases and, at a Recommended Installer, an installation price that is fixed before you buy. Tire Rack savings at a glance

How tire rebates work at Tire Rack

Tire Rack's Special Offers page lists the current rebates and instant savings by brand. In November 2026 it called them its early Black Friday tire deals, with offers from Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Cooper, Hankook, Kumho, Vredestein and others. A rebate usually works like this:

1. Check the offer before you choose a tire. Each offer names the tire lines that qualify, and almost all need a set of four.
2. Buy within the purchase dates. The window is printed on the offer, and the tires must come from Tire Rack's in-stock inventory.
3. Keep your paperwork. Some rebates ask for proof of installation as well as the receipt.
4. Submit the claim before its deadline. Use the form on the offer's Learn More page, online or by mail where both are allowed. Cooper and Goodyear say online claims are paid faster, and some brands, such as Hankook, accept online claims only.
5. Wait for the card. The reward comes as a prepaid card or virtual account, and Tire Rack says to allow up to 12 weeks. Filing online gives you a reference number, and the terms on the redemption form say how to check the status.

A mail-in rebate doesn't change what you pay at checkout: Tire Rack says it doesn't affect the amount of your order. If you pay with the Tire Rack credit card, Tire Rack says you can stack a manufacturer rebate with its promotional financing, though a rebate can't be used to pay the card account.

Rebates or instant savings

Instant savings work differently. They are taken off the price of qualifying tires when you buy, so there is no claim to file and the saving shows in your cart. When a brand offers both, as Pirelli did in November 2026 with an instant saving on some lines and a rebate on its WeatherActive tires, read each offer's list of tire lines: the two Pirelli lists named different models.

Where to ship your tires

Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more before taxes, by standard ground shipping to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C.; Canadian and APO/FPO addresses aren't eligible. Tire Rack says most orders arrive in two days or less. You have four ways to get them:

• To a Recommended Installer. More than 10,000 independent tire shops take part, and each commits to Tire Rack's Price Pledge: the installation price shown on Tire Rack's site is what you pay. Tire Rack says its tire deals apply to every shop in the network.
• To your home or your own garage. Useful if you already have a mechanic you trust.
• Order Pick-Up. Collect at one of Tire Rack's distribution centers for a discount, applied in the cart at checkout, with contact-free curbside service. Bring your credit card and photo ID.
• Tire Rack Mobile Installation. Where the service operates (check your ZIP on Tire Rack's site), a technician comes to your home or work and fits each tire in about 15 minutes. Prices start at $40 a tire, and they can also fit tires you already own.

Tire and wheel packages

If you are buying wheels too, a tire and wheel package saves fitting costs. Tire Rack mounts and Road Force balances the four tires and wheels at no extra cost, includes the installation hardware, and installs TPMS sensors bought with the package for free. Packages ship to your home or to an installer, ready to bolt on. Winter tire and wheel packages work the same way.

Protection that comes with the tires

Almost every tire purchase includes free two-year road hazard protection. It covers damage from punctures, bruises or impacts on maintained roads: a replacement at the current retail price up to $599 with pre-approval, flat repairs up to $40 per tire each time, and roadside assistance with 25 miles of towing for tire-related service. Start a claim in Tire Rack's claims portal before you repair or replace the tire. Competition and trailer tires, commercial vehicles and damage outside the 50 United States aren't covered.

The Tire Rack Pledge adds a Perfect Fit Promise, which guarantees the fit when you share your vehicle details at purchase, and help with manufacturer's warranty claims.

Returns

Unused products that haven't been driven on or damaged can be returned within 30 days of delivery; call customer care at 888-981-3953 for a return authorization. Freight charges come off the credit for tires and wheels, a tire and wheel package also loses a $60 dismount charge, and special order items can't be returned. Choosing the right tire the first time saves more than any return, which is why shopping by vehicle matters.

Paying over time

• Tire Rack credit card (Synchrony Bank, no annual fee): no interest if paid in full within 6 months on purchases of $199 or more, 9 months on $1,000 to $1,499.99 and 12 months on $1,500 or more. Interest is charged from the purchase date if the balance isn't paid in full in time.
• Affirm: chosen in the cart, with 0% to 36% APR, no late fees and up to 36 months to pay.
• Brand cards from Bridgestone, Continental, General Tire and Goodyear have their own six-month financing offers.

Before you buy: a checklist

• Vehicle entered, so only tires and wheels that fit are shown.
• Special Offers page checked for your tire brand and its qualifying lines.
• A set of four in the cart, if the offer needs one.
• Delivery chosen: installer, home, pick-up or mobile installation.
• Order of $50 or more for free shipping.
• Receipt and proof of installation kept for the rebate.
• Rebate deadline noted.
