Where Agoda promo codes come from

Agoda offers promotional rates, vouchers, discounts, promo codes and special offers. Its Today's Deals page groups them four ways:

• Coupons you collect, each showing its discount, any minimum spend and when it expires.
• Credit card offers for paying with a partner card.
• Special campaigns, such as destination and event sales.
• Limited-time offers, such as price drops and local or international hotel deals.

Offers are filtered by product, so you can see what applies to hotels and homes, flights or flight + hotel bookings. The Agoda app gives you access to all your deals, offers and discounts in one place too.

How to use an Agoda promo code

Agoda's own steps are short:

1. Find a coupon and collect it. If there is a promotion code, copy it.
2. Search for properties with the "Coupon applicable" label. Those are the properties your coupon works at.
3. Apply your coupon or promo code on the booking form before you complete payment. If it is not applied automatically, add it on the booking form.
4. Check the price breakdown. Agoda shows the value of the discount there, so you can see the saving before you confirm.

The rules every Agoda code follows

Agoda's terms set a few ground rules for all its promotions:

• One per booking. Unless an offer says otherwise, a promotion cannot be combined with other promotions or loyalty programs.
• Taxes and fees stay the same. Unless stated, promotions do not apply to local taxes, service fees or other added charges.
• Some offers are local. A promotion may be available only in certain countries or territories, or for certain travel products.
• No cash value. Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or other products.
• Agoda can end a promotion. Agoda may stop any promotion at any time.

Agoda promo code not working? Check these first

• The property does not carry the "Coupon applicable" label.
• The booking is below the coupon's minimum spend.
• The coupon has expired. Each coupon shows its expiry on the deals page.
• The offer is for another country, territory or travel product.
• Another promotion is already on the booking.

AgodaCash: money off your next stay

AgodaCash is Agoda's reward credit. Agoda gives it on bookings for loyalty or goodwill, for example at properties showing the AgodaCash icon, and also uses it to pay out Best Price Guarantee claims.

• Spend it on future stays. AgodaCash works on accommodation bookings at agoda.com, in full or in part, and the booking process shows when you can use it.
• It lasts. AgodaCash is valid until you use it or until the expiry date it was issued with, and never for more than five years.
• Refunds. Cancel a refundable booking you paid with AgodaCash, and it can be returned with its original expiry date.
• One saving at a time. Unless the terms say otherwise, AgodaCash is used on its own rather than with other promotions.

AgodaVIP: better rates the more you book

AgodaVIP is free, and you do not even need to sign up: you become a Silver member as soon as you make two bookings within two years. Keep booking to climb through Gold and Platinum to VIP, with discounted rates and hotel benefits on selected bookings. VIP benefits apply to the stay itself, not to add-ons such as upgrades or extra baggage, unless the offer says so.

Agoda's Best Price Guarantee

If you book a hotel on Agoda and then find the same stay cheaper on another booking site, Agoda either matches that rate or credits the difference to your account in AgodaCash. The other site must be one Agoda lists, such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline, Trip.com, Traveloka or Airbnb.

To claim, send Agoda's claim form with your booking ID, the web address of the lower rate, the property name, city and country, and up to three screenshots, before 11:59 PM (property time) on the day before check-in. You do not need to book the lower rate.

The lower rate has to be a true like-for-like match: the same property, dates, room and bed type, occupancy, benefits and currency, with the same or more flexible cancellation terms, available for instant confirmation, and quoted as a final rate including taxes and fees. The guarantee covers hotel and accommodation bookings, not flights, activities or hotel + flight bookings, and it does not cover private, packaged or membership rates or Agoda Secret Deals.
